Our youth services actively seek to involve the parents / caregivers of the young people and we assist them to heal the relationships within the family. In rare situations where this isn’t feasible we then we work hard to create a community based whanau or ‘alternative family’ for that young person.
Our work with older people; both residential and in the community, is always trying to reconnect family members – often rekindling relationships in the dying stage of someone’s life.
Our foodbank is focused on addressing some basic needs within each family it helps and acts as an introduction to other services which may help families in need of assistance or guidance.
Our services really do cover the whole age range.
