Reading cinema in Porirua recently hosted what is possibly Porirua’s first ever movie premiere for a locally produced movie (and which also happened to feature the work of Wesley Community Action’s Porirua based Good Cents team.)

Wesley Community Action Chairperson Peter Glensor said a fundamental part of a healthy community was that members of that community should receive a wage that supported their participation in the life of that community.
MSD funded organisations wanting to become more outcome focused are now eleigible to receive funding from the NZ Ministry of Development’s $32 million dollar capability fund to access Wesley’s training in CDOI
