Your donation to Wesley Community Action will help people in our community. You might be supporting a family a few doors down the road to attend our ‘Good Cents’ budgeting and financial literacy programme to help them get them back on a firm economic footing. Or you could be helping a young mum in the next suburb create the best possible future for herself and her child. Or you could be contributing towards in-home care for the elderly gentleman that you see at the bus stop, enabling him to retain dignity and independence.
These are all people who live in your area – your neighbours or wider whānau. Thanks to you, people of all ages and all stages of life will have somewhere to go when they need support through a tough time.
What’s even better is that you’ll be helping do things a bit differently. Sometimes we need to try new programmes and forward-thinking people like you enable us to do that. You’ll be helping find the best solutions for people and create long-term change.
Here are just a few ways in which you can help:
- $70 could help a family attend a two module Good Cents course
- $110 could help a vulnerable older person access support and advocacy
- $50 could help stock our food bank, a last resort for those truly in need
Please donate now to support people in our community who need a helping hand.
Thank you.
